Ludmila vineyard
The Ludmila vineyard is one of the most beautiful places in Mělnice and you can find it on a sunny slope directly below the Mělnice castle, from where you will also have a wonderful view of the confluence of the Elbe and Vltava rivers or perhaps Mount Říp. Ludmila wine is named after Princess Ludmila, who founded the first vineyard in Mělník and laid the foundation for the local wine-making tradition that continues to this day.
